Our Animals
At Tales of the Paw we are dedicated to finding the perfect home for our furbabies.
If you’re looking for a new furry family member to join your home, we will make sure to find you the best match. If you are unsure if you’re able to commit, we also have a foster to adopt program as well.
No matter what route you go you will have our support every step of the way. Even after you complete your adoption, rest assured that you can always reach out to us with questions, concerns and/or updates.

Sweet Lily is like a living stuffed animal. She is just a little ball of love and snuggles. She came to us with her sister Violet at only 4 weeks old with a double eye infection. After weeks of antibiotics and eye medications her vets decided it was time for her to have double enucleation surgery. Once she was all healed up and recovered she was adopted and is living her very best life in her forever home.

Violet and her sister Lily came to us when they were only 4 weeks old and were the very first rescues here at Tales of the Paw. They had eye infections that had turned into ulcerations and ruptures. After a few weeks of eye medications and antibiotics the vets decided that double enucleation surgery was their best outcome. She is a beautiful girl that is fearless, loves exploring outside on her harness and is also polydactyl. Violet was being fostered by one of the Co-Founders of the organization and once she had fully recovered she was officially adopted by her family.

Jonesy, now Ricky, came to us at only 4 weeks old, with a trauma that caused him neurological damage. He would drag and knuckle his back hind leg. After getting tons of love and gaining strength in his foster home he was all healed up and ready for adoption. The minute he was available for adoption his foster mom let us know that she had fallen in love and decided to officially make him part of the family.

Our beautiful little Luke, now Ash, is the happiest boy in his adoptive home. His owner is absolutely smitten and is spoiling Ash every chance he gets. Him and his owner bonded right away and we couldn't be happier for them both.

When Layla's owner passed away their family reached out to us. They needed help to find this sweet girl a loving adoptive home. While we were busy networking her, they were realizing that she fit in perfectly and decided they couldn't part with this sweet girl.

Beautiful Bowie came to us when he was 4 months old with a congenital malformation of his hind legs. But this doesn’t stop him from doing everything a 4 legged kitty can do! He was in foster care until he was medically cleared for adoption. We couldn’t be happier to say that his foster told us how in love she was with Bowie and decided to adopt him.

Our quirky and lovable boy Garfield finally found his perfect forever home! He won his adopters hearts over right away with his cuddles and hugs. He's also loving his enclosed large yard and dog siblings.
-
Sweet tiny Owen came to us from West Valley Animal Shelter with his brother Luke. He had a large laceration on his upper hind leg but was stable and needed a loving foster home to rest and recover in. Unfortunately, his injuries were more severe than first diagnosed and after a visit to the emergency clinic little Owen crossed the rainbow bridge. We are grateful that we had the opportunity to give him much needed medical attention, love and comfort before he passed.

Our dearest senior Snoopy came to us from North Central Animal Shelter where he spent a month with major medical issues trying to find a rescue or an adoptive home. Tales of the Paw saw this overlooked senior and brought him in to our program. Snoopy spent a little over 6 weeks in our program getting all the love and medical attention that he needed. We even worked with a trauma behavioral specialist to help him with his anxiety and ptsd. Unfortunately, due to his age, medical issues and dementia Snoopy turned out to be a hospice case. But this sweet boy got to be loved and spoiled and cared for at the end of his life. We are so happy that we were able to give him a 2nd chance and the love and care he deserved.

It's no surprise that our adorable little underbite boy Paco found his new adoptive home as soon as he was available. He is living it up in his new home with his cat siblings. We love the regular updates that we get about this cutie!

Adorable Trooper was found injured under a pile of debris in an abandoned home. She recovered completely from her injuries while in her foster home and officially became part of the family. Her foster family let us know they would be adopting her a few days before she was officially eligible for adoption.

Stella and Toulouse had to be rehomed when their owner was tragically diagnosed with a terminal illness. Stella being the sweetest cat that we have ever had the pleasure of meeting, won over her foster right away and became part of the family. When Stella's adopter found out she had an equally sweetheart brother in our foster program he quickly reached out to us. Toulouse is a FIV + tripod with a heart of gold and we are so happy that he made his way back home to Stella. The brother and sister are now living out the rest of their lives together in a happy loving home.

Ember came to us when she was 3 months old with a fractured femur. She is a very sweet and extremely cuddly kitty that needed a place to rest and recover for a few months. While in foster care she bonded with her kitty foster sibling and healed very quickly with all the love she received. After she had fully recovered her foster dad decided he couldn’t live without her and adopted her, officially making her part of the family.

Bella was the first dog Tales of the Paw rescued. She was a geriatric hospice dog with multiple tumors and missing fur. In her 6 months with her loving forever hospice foster Bella got the love and medical attention that she desperately needed. The end of her life was filled with love, cuddles, delicious food, warm beds and all her fur even grew back. Bella will never be forgotten and her memory will continue to remind us why we take on the medical cases and the seniors. Thank you for all the love you brought your foster family Bella!

This adorable little guy, now named Momo, came to us from North Central Shelter. He had a rough start medically but pulled through and is now healthy and in a loving home. The moment his adopters saw him they knew they wanted to bring him home and foster him until he was available for them to adopt. He is living his best life!
